The Oromo Community of Minnesota (OCM) recently collaborated with Ramsey County, Trellis, AARP, Metro State University, and the Indian Occupational Health Program (IOHP) to host a successful Healthy Aging Workshop. The event, held this week, was designed to raise awareness on important health issues impacting older adults in our community.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about key health topics, including diabetes, hypertension, and early cancer screenings, while also engaging in physical activities to promote overall wellness. The workshop provided valuable resources and information, empowering attendees to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our partners, staff, and volunteers whose dedication and support made this event possible. Your efforts are instrumental in fostering healthier, stronger communities.
